A beverage manufacturer on the Central Coast Highway needed their production floor marked with strict hygiene zone separation. Raw ingredients in one area, processing in another, bottling in a third, and packaging in a fourth. Cross-contamination between zones would compromise their food safety certification and HACCP compliance.

We conducted a thorough site assessment with their quality assurance team to understand workflow patterns and contamination risks. Our solution used colour-coded antimicrobial epoxy with raised bunding at zone transitions. Blue for raw materials handling, green for processing, yellow for bottling, and white for packaging and dispatch.

The raised sections create physical barriers that prevent spillage crossing between zones while the colour coding makes zone boundaries instantly visible to staff. All materials were food-safe, chemical-resistant, and designed to withstand daily high-pressure cleaning and sanitisation protocols.

Installation occurred over a weekend shutdown to avoid production interruption. Our team worked extended hours to ensure full curing before Monday's operations resumed.

Their food safety auditors specifically commended the floor marking system as exceeding compliance requirements during the next scheduled inspection.
